Last night we released a small update with a number of tweaks and fixes following the major update earlier in the month.
Login from WriteUpp.com – You can now login from the WriteUpp homepage as well as using your own unique URL. We have added this option so that users who are logging in from computers where their URL has not been bookmarked (if you’re working in a school or nursing home, for example) can quickly and easily login. To add extra protection and to prevent brute force attacks we have also implemented Google’s reCAPTCHA technology so that extra validation will kick-in after two failed password attempts.
Default Date Range on Outstanding Invoices – The default date range has been changed to 90 days (instead of 14 days) as one or two clients had been confused by the shorter date range
Access Desktop site from Mobile Browser – We have re-instated the ability to login to the desktop version of WriteUpp from mobile browsers. Now, when you enter your unique URL in a mobile browser you will immediately be taken to the desktop version of WriteUpp. Obviously this isn’t a totally optimal experience, which is why we developed the mobile apps for iOS or Android, but hopefully for those users that want to access the desktop version on their phones this will be helpful.
User Roles & New UI – When the new UI was launched we broke the views associated with different user roles. This has now been fixed.
Change Active Patient – when you click on an appointment in the diary the Active Patient button/indicator now updates correctly
